One roof, from
mould to master carton.
Twelve years of building small electronics in Foshan, and the same two buildings in Yanbu since 2016. Mould making, injection, SMT, assembly, testing and packing happen on site — which is why we can quote a change in days rather than weeks.
DOWELL started in 2013 as a cable and charger workshop with eleven people. The first export order was 4,000 braided Lightning cables for a distributor in Rotterdam; the second came from the same customer four months later. That pattern — small first order, repeat volume — still describes most of our book.
Today the product range covers magnetic card wallets, car mounting, GaN charging, power banks, desk lamps and seasonal lighting. Seven lines sounds scattered, until you look at the process: they share the same injection, SMT, assembly and test infrastructure, and they sell into the same buyer — a distributor or private-label brand that wants fewer suppliers and one shipment.
We are not the cheapest quotation you will receive. We are usually the one that ships on the date we wrote down, with the certificates already in the folder when the customs broker asks.
Twelve years, four moves forward.
Growth driven by category additions rather than headcount — every new line reused the assembly floor we already had.
-
2013
Founded as a cable workshop
Eleven staff, two crimping machines, first export order to the Netherlands in the same year.
-
2016
Moved to Yanbu, added injection
Own mould shop and six injection machines; magnetic card wallets became the second product line.
-
2019
SMT in-house, charging line launched
Two SMT lines installed to bring PCBA under our own quality control — GaN chargers and power banks followed.
-
2021
Lighting division
Desk lamps and holiday string lights added, sharing the same assembly and ageing infrastructure.

2026
6,000 m², seven lines, 38 markets
ISO 9001:2015 certified, BSCI audited, exporting to 38 countries with an average of 3.4 SKUs per customer.
Four checkpoints,
no exceptions.
Inspection is a station on the line, not a favour at the end. Every batch carries a signed record that travels with the shipping documents.
Cells, PCBs, magnets and plastics checked against the approved sample: capacity, polarity, dimensional report.
First-article approval at every shift start, then hourly spot checks on soldering, torque and fit.
100% power-on test; charging and lighting batches run 4–8 h burn-in at 45 °C before packing.
AQL 1.0 sampling, carton drop and stack test, photo report sent before the container is loaded.
Paperwork in one folder
Per-SKU test reports, factory audit reports and declarations of conformity — issued in your company name on request.
Also available: REACH, PAHs, EMC, LVD, ERP and Amazon compliance packs. Report copies are sent as PDF within one working day of request.

Your project is handled by a named account engineer from quotation to shipment — not a rotating sales inbox. Drawings, DFM feedback and change requests all go through one person who sits 40 metres from the line.
